Dental Staff

Dr. Feng Gao has been a general dentist, for 37 years. He graduated from Peking University School of Dentistry in 1983 and completed his pediatric dental residency at the UTHealth School of Dentistry in 1994. He also completed a dental oncology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1995. While accomplished and experienced in all aspects of dentistry, he particularly enjoys doing implants, root canals, minor oral surgery, and Invisalign. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, serving at church, spending time with family, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. James Gao is an associate dentist and has been with us since 2019. Born and raised in Houston, he grew up watching his father practice dentistry and was inspired to follow in his footsteps. His goal is to continue providing the high quality dental care that Dr. Feng Gao is known for, while modernizing his practice. During his spare time, Dr. James Gao enjoys playing sports and board games with friends. Dr. Gao majored in Biology and Chinese Studies at Furman University in 2015 and completed his dental training at the UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston in 2019.

Catherine has been with Gao Dental since 2024. She was born in Indonesia and grew up in Illinois. She went to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign majoring in Management and Marketing and received her MBA from Louisiana State University. Prior to Gao Dental, she worked at Amazon in Operations and HR. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, trying out new restaurants, and playing board games.

Ingrid Song is a dental hygienist and has been with us since 1998. She started off as part of the front desk team and eventually went on her to earn her RDH degree at the UTHealth School of Dentistry in 2005. She was born and raised in Shanghai, China and moved to Sugar Land, Texas in 1993. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and serving together at Fort Bend Community Church. Her other interests include reading the Bible, chatting with friends, experimenting with food, traveling with family, and gardening.

Kelsie has been with Gao Dental since 2023. She grew up in Sugar Land, and after graduating from Clements High School, she attended the University of Texas at Austin and got her dental hygiene degree from HCC Coleman College of Health Sciences. In her free time, Kelsie enjoys cheering on the Houston Rockets, cooking pasta, baking macarons, and playing with her Shiba Inus!

Susan Yue has been with Gao Dental since 2010. She graduated from Yanbian Medical College in 1983 from the Department of Pharmacy. During her free time, she enjoys growing flowers and vegetables in her backyard and going for long walks.

Jean has been with Gao Dental since 2020. During her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her children.

Ruby has been part of Gao Dental since 2026. She was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In her free time she loves expressing herself through writing, singing karaoke with her family, camping under the stars, and planning her next travel adventure.

Sadie began her career as a dental assistant with Gao Dental in 2026. She is passionate about creating a comfortable and positive experience for patients. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, having fun party with friends and watching her new born kitten.
